Files, MCP servers, and a faster app
A file workspace for every organization, workflows you can publish as MCP tools, and speed improvements across the app.
- New
Files: a built-in workspace for your organization's documents
Every organization now has a Files area with folders, drag-and-drop upload, and an editor with tabs and live preview. Edit text files right in the app, archive what you no longer need, and restore archived files instantly.
- New
Workflows can read and write your files
A new Files step lets any workflow read, write, and list documents in your organization's Files area, so automations can work directly with the documents your team keeps in ModuleX.
- New
The Composer can manage files with you
Ask the Composer to create or update organization files during a chat. Every file change it proposes waits for your approval before anything is saved.
- New
Publish workflows as an MCP server
Turn selected workflows into tools that MCP-compatible assistants such as Claude and Cursor can call. You choose exactly which workflows a server exposes, access is secured with OAuth, and setup is a one-time key with click-to-copy client instructions.
- Improved
Settings now live in one dialog
All settings open in a single dialog from anywhere in the app, with a new General tab for personal preferences such as theme, refreshed billing and plan cards, and cleaner team and API key pages.
- Improved
The app feels faster
Creating, moving, and archiving files now happens instantly at click speed, your workflow list appears without a loading wait, and settings, knowledge, and analytics screens preload before you open them.
- Improved
Simpler knowledge base setup, more reliable uploads
Creating a knowledge base now shows just the essentials, with advanced options collapsed. Documents upload straight to storage, which makes large uploads faster, and documents interrupted mid-upload are now recovered automatically.
- Improved
Narrower Google permissions
Connecting Google now asks only for access to Drive files you create or open with ModuleX, and Google Tag Manager access is read-only. Existing connections keep working.
- Improved
Higher rate limits
API rate limits were raised across the board and are now the same on every plan.
- Fixed
Sign-ups no longer fail on a taken username
Fixed a bug that could block new accounts from signing up when their username matched an existing one.
- Fixed
File names behave: international characters and duplicates
Files whose names use non-Latin characters now download with the correct name, and uploading a file with an existing name saves it with a numbered suffix instead of failing.
- Fixed
Long run outputs stay inside their panel
Workflow runs with very long outputs no longer overflow the run details panel.
- Fixed
Model list shows the right logos
Each model in the model picker now shows its own vendor's logo instead of the gateway provider's.
